Braci (pronounced ‘bra-chee) is a 1 Michelin star modern Italian restaurant and rooftop bar by renowned restaurateur Beppe De Vito. Overlooking the Singapore River, the casual-luxe 20-seater open-kitchen restaurant and 30-seater bar features contemporary Italian cuisine and classic cocktails that are reinvented through modern techniques. With a name that literally means ‘embers’ in Italian, Braci’s menu is inspired by wood, the main cooking method, through the use of the Josper oven and the shichirin grill. Here, the food takes center stage as chefs focus on showcasing each ingredient, herb and spice to its fullest in the intimate open kitchen, treating guests to the sights, sounds and smells of the purest form of culinary experience.
One floor above, the bar is made up of an intimate interior and an outdoor rooftop with sweeping views of the city skyline over the Singapore River. Incorporating culinary skills into bartending rules, the cocktail menu is a well-balanced variety of contemporary-classic cocktails and original Braci signatures inspired by seasonal ingredients and timeless flavour pairings from traditional recipes.
