Established In 2015, humble and understated Alma by Juan Amador brings accessible Michelin quality food to everyone. Alma, meaning ‘soul’ in Spanish, was so named to acknowledge the Spanish Descent of their Partner Chef Juan Amador. Alma offers a sanctuary where great friends and even better food unite for a memorable dining experience. Original paintings by John James Audubon, sourced from The Birds of America book, also hang proudly in the restaurant. The illustrations showcase a variety of birds from the United States and date back as far as 1827. A red and orange theme ripples throughout the restaurant, signifying love, passion and, of course, soul. A wine cellar takes pride of place in the centre of the room, reminding guests why they are there – to eat and drink with the people they love. At Alma, enjoy a dining experience that’s both refined and relaxed.
